“I will,” Layla replied. “I just have one more meeting before I can head back home.”

“Okay, well, I’ll see you bright and early in the morning.” With that, Layla was all by herself in the office.

Layla picked up her phone and scrolled through some of the pictures she had taken with Kitty at the wedding boutique earlier that day. When Kitty said that they would go shopping, she had no idea that she would take her wedding dress shopping. Layla knew that the woman was ecstatic about her and Treyton’s engagement and that she wanted to throw the wedding of the century for them. She didn’t know how she felt about that, but with her parents acting the way that they were, having one who supported her choices made her feel great for once. And although Layla didn’t want big weddings, she could at least look at wedding dresses with her soon-to-be mother-in-law. In all honesty, Layla had a great time feeling like a princess, and she found a couple of dresses that she wanted to share with her roommate, Tonya, to help her make a perfect choice.
